• Q. What Surfaces Can I Install A Folding Frame Washing Line On To? 
• A. Folding frame and wall mounted washing lines can be installed on to any suitable solid structure, such as a brick wall, brick fence, concrete wall or solid wood posts etc. As long as the mounting area is solid almost any material is ok to mount to.

• Q. Can Folding Frame Washing Lines Be Installed Free Standing? 
• A.  Yes. The majority of folding frame and wall mounted washing lines can be installed free standing anywhere in your garden with the use of a ground mount kit. A ground mount kit is required as there is no leg sections supplied with a standard folding frame unit. Some of the smaller folding frame washing lines can only be wall mounted and these include the Austral Basix, Austral Unit Line 15, Hills Inside Out and the Hills Balcony washing line.

• Q. Is A Wall Mounted Washing Line Easy To Install?
• A. All wall mounted and folding frame washing lines are easily installed by the average handyman, with only a few basic tools required for a standard installation such as a drill, spirit level, wall anchors and spanner or crescent. A standard wall mounted washing line would take around 1-3 hours to install. Wall anchors are not included due to the fact that these types of washing lines can be installed on to many different types of surfaces and structures.

• Q. Is A Folding Frame Washing Line Easy To Operate?
• A. Wall mounted washing lines and folding frame lines are specifically designed to be used by the average sized person and are easily operated by most people. The elderly or frail would have no problems using these new folding frame washing lines.

• Q. Do These Washing Lines Come With Wall Anchors Or Wall Fasteners Included?
• A. No. The washing lines do not have fasteners or anchors included as they can be mounted onto so many different surfaces, the correct fasteners cannot be supplied for all situations and materials. If you are unsure which fasteners or wall anchors to use, please consult your local hardware store as they will be able to supply the correct fasteners for the type of material you are mounting to.

• Q. What Colours Of Folding Frame Washing Lines Are Available??
• A. Austral washing lines have standard colours of Heritage Green and Beige, and can also be Custom Coloured to almost any colour. City Living washing lines have standard colours of Primrose, Paperbark, Pearl White, Federation Green, Pale Eucalypt, Satin Black and can also be Custom Coloured. Hills have standard colours of Federation Green, Salt Bush and Slate Grey(Duo Plus Only). Hills washing lines can not be custom coloured. 

• Q. Whats The Difference Between Hills And Austral Washing Lines?
• A. There is very little difference between Hills and Austral washing lines as they both use the same high quality materials and similar manufacturing systems. Both washing line companies provide 10 year structural guarantees and offer very high quality washing line products. 

• Q. Whats The Difference Between The Hills Duo Plus And The Hills Duo?
• A. The Hills Duo Plus and the Hills Duo are both twin frame washing lines. The difference between the two is that the small frame on the Duo does not fold flat to the wall and is up permanently.
